Meet the band.

voice
Jason is the voice of The Vinyl Jackets. He is also a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar and bass for various other projects.
Jason’s music is inspired by great storytellers—Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, Johnny Cash, and Chris Cornell. His soul moves with the beat of the drums, the rhythm of the bass and the raw energy of the guitar.
Jason’s previous band was Coast to Coast, a power trio cover band in Johor, Malaysia. As The Clap – a name inspired by Johnny Cash, the need for applause and a bit of a laugh – he performed live solo acoustic sets and released a number of singles on Spotify.
You can find Jason’s content on Spotify and Instagram: @MYTheClap and @MYCoasttoCoast.
Jason Anthony

Tony Luque
guitars
Tony crafts the guitar sound for The Vinyl Jackets, blending blues and raw rock energy. Obsessed with authentic tone, he believes every note tells a story—shaped by classic gear and late-night sessions.
Since 1987, Tony has played in bands like Los Genuinos, Desafinados, She & the Cyclones, Leonard Skinner, The Blackjackets, The Bluesinners and Glory Bound.
Whether on his Gibson, Fender, or Gretsch, Tony focuses on making each note and silence meaningful, keeping the spirit of blues, rock, and rhythm and blues alive every time he plugs in.

bass & harmonica
Eduard has played the bass guitar for 35 years and the harmonica for 38. His versatility has led him through a wide range of genres, from the Americana sounds of Fire Roots Band to the country rock of Mal Paso and the gritty energy of Nasty Ho. He’s powered the rhythm section in Fast Forward (’90s grunge) and shaped the blues of Black Cotton. In Glory Bound Edu teamed up with Tony and Pere for the first time, forging a musical partnership that endures today.
Eduard’s favorite memory is sharing the stage with Guy Forsythe at Anton’s Club in Austin, Texas – an appearance that earned him a mention in the Austin Chronicle.
Whether on bass or harmonica, Eduard infuses each note of The Vinyl Jackets with passion, skill, and the spirit of countless stages and late-night jams.
Eduard Amenos

drums
Pere’s musical journey began with the guitar at age 15, but his true passion emerged at 36 when he switched to drums. In Tarragona, he studied under the drummer from La Soul Machine, building a strong foundation in music theory and jazz that still shapes his playing style today.
Relocating to Barcelona, Pere joined the blues band She & The Cyclones, where he first performed alongside Tony. Their collaboration lasted two years before parting ways briefly. Reunited with Tony and teaming up with Edu for the Rockabilly project Glory Bound, they spent another year making music together.
Now, as a member of The Vinyl Jackets, Pere channels his experience in R’n’B, blues, and jazz into a dynamic rhythm that powers the band’s groove.
